Scouts of the Russian military base in Tajikistan prevented sabotage
Servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan conducted exercises to destroy sabotage groups of a conditional enemy who tried to penetrate military facilities, the press service of the Central Military District reports. As part of the exercise, the military was alerted early in the morning, and flying from the Gissar airfield by helicopters MI-8, headed for the area of detection of a conditional enemy. The crews of the army aviation, having conducted an air reconnaissance of the area, determined the coordinates of the location of the enemy groups. Then the base scouts, secretly landing in a landing method at a suitable site, began to move to the search area. The enemy was taken by surprise and destroyed. Fire support to the scouts was provided by the crews of combat helicopters MI-24. At the same time, the coordination of actions carried out by intelligence units during the exercises was carried out in accordance with information received from unmanned aerial vehicles. The exercise, in which about 500 soldiers took part, lasted two days and was held at the Lyaur training ground.
